Hello… And welcome to the debut issue of Self-Made Millionaire, the sister publication of the Entrepreneur Channel. It’s been refreshing and fun, and sometimes even inspiring, to launch this magazine. What particularly strikes me is the generosity of spirit demonstrated by all our entrepreneur interviewees.

It’s more than just the dapper Duncan Bannatyne offering us a picture of himself during his ice-cream vending years. Duncan’s a good sport and clearly doesn’t mind appearing before us all with one of the silliest moustaches not worn by a member of the 70s band Village People. But what’s really generous is his honesty. He shares the simple secrets of his success with us – as do Andrew Reynolds, John Elliott and James Murray Wells. Elsewhere, readers will find plenty of stories firmly in the ‘news you can use’ category, accounts of what goes on behind the scenes at the Entrepreneur Channel, and tales of people who have taken on board some of the messages and techniques on offer and used them to make money and transform their own lives.
